The last surviving astronaut from the Project Mercury space program has died.
John Glenn was portrayed by Ed Harris in the great 1983 film, The Right Stuff.
He was a great American hero. R.I.P. John Glenn.

Ken Ralston Interview from 1984
1984 was a great year for movies. Ken Ralston went on to work for Sony Pictures Imageworks as VFX supervisor.
